This website is a project of the School Library Association of Victoria. An ongoing subscription to the website can be purchased through the SLAV store this is for unlimited access within your school.

SLAV will continue to update and maintain this website and we welcome ideas for content, please contact the SLAV office with any suggestions.

The toolkit is based on the SLAV Statement on School Libraries which was prepared by the association, and ratified by the SLAV state council, in 2018. The toolkit material was initially prepared by Mary Manning, a long standing, highly experienced educator who was the Executive Officer of SLAV for many years. Mary is currently the Editor of the SLAV journal FYI.
